In the middle of his concert at the famous Forum in Los Angeles, superstar Stevie Wonder stopped the show to acknowledge, in front of thousands of fans, a man who has had much to do with the success and longevity of his vocal career. He wasn't referring to his manager or record producer. He was referring to Seth Riggs - his voice teacher. Seth Riggs is considered by many to be the best and most successful voice teacher in the world. He is certainly the busiest. No other teacher, past or present, has ever matched his phenomenal track record. His students are a veritable "Who's Who" of singers, actors, dancers, and entertainers throughout the world. Seth Riggs's vocal technique and the methods he uses to teach the technique were forged and tempered by the fierce demands placed on the world's top performers, who must often perform several shows a night - night after night! A great deal of money is always at stake, so his clients' voices must be able to function easily, without strain. Level 3 - Certified Speech Level Singing teacher

Sharon Rowntree is the driving force behind Speech Level Singing Australia which allows her to devote time and effort to teaching and coaching of children and adults. Singing Lessons can be booked with Sharon who is a Level 3 teacher which means that she has undergone 5 years of approved speech level singing teacher training towards recognition of her level. (Level 5 is the highest level). Singing Lessons are available on the Gold Coast, Queensland and are booked by appointment.
Sharon is the Northern Education Advisory Group Manager (EAG) for singing teachers wishing to become certified Speech Level Singing (SLS) singing teachers in Northern Australia. During this time she has received training from classical to popular methods. Ten years ago she discovered the Speech level Singing method and was amazed how well it could be applied to the voice. After flying to Los Angeles and meeting and training with Seth Riggs she decided to become involved in the Speech Level Singing organisation. Since then, Sharon has made many trips to the US and has trained with most of the education advisory board of SLS. She is in regular contact with many other teachers and constantly challenges herself to learn more about how the technique can be best applied to children and adults.
